Releasing February 29, 2020, the Travis Scott SB Dunk Low arrives Paisley print overlays.
Cactus Jack is about to hit us with his first skateboarding sneaker: the Nike SB Dunk Low coming at the end of February. As with previous Cactus Jack models, Travis brings us another bricolage upper mixing different patterns and materials to create his look. Today, we take an up close review.
Get into the look…
Looking at the later side of the sneaker, a Black leather Swoosh overlay wraps midfoot to heel atop a Navy, Beige and Deep Brown plaid quarter panel. Next comes the impeccable Navy Paisley pattern overlays that ultimately tear away revealing a bold cement print underneath.
The familiar Cyrillic script of Кактус Джек Records appears along the Light Brown collar panel. On top, we see the Brown heel counter carrying a soft Pink Nike seal.
Smooth Earthy Beige leather coats the perforated toe box, throat and tongue. The faded Grey tongue tab boasts Cactus Jack branding. Also, SB Dunks come laced up in intricately braided heavy-duty White laces that make the shoes feel anchored and secure.
Crossing to the medial side, we see the Paisley continuing across the mudguard and under the soft Pink leather Swoosh also wrapping to the heel. While subtle it looks great coupled with the plaid.
Below, we find a White midsole and the typical gum rubber outsole has been given a bleach makeover, showing off the traction. In addition to the White set, two extra pairs of laces accompany the shoes in soft Pink and Black.
Inside the Brown synthetic mesh tongue and sockliner lead down to the Nike SB x Cactus Jack cobranded Paisley insert. Similarly, the insole is also decorated with paisley pattern.
