Reebok gets ready to take us back to our childhoods with the upcoming Nerf Pump Omni Zone II “Light Jammer” releasing late this month. Talk about a blast from the past. From the silhouette to the official collaboration with Nerf, the upper screams 90’s nostalgia.
Bursting Orange along with Neon Greens and Blues could definitely be seen as the colors of youth in the 90s. The design and name Light Jammer both shout out the 1996 mini hoop game that lit up when you scored.
The top of the high-profile ankles, tongue, toe wrap, and forefoot mudguard show up in a gak or Nickelodeon slime colored Green. Splattered all over is a brilliant shade of Orange that coats the leather upper, laces, throat, overlays, and heels. The accenting Navy, Light Blue, and NERF logo Yellow are all reminiscent of the brightly colored OG NERF blasters that shot tennis balls.
The Navy Pump rests just below boisterous Nerf logos that match the ones found on the lateral mudguard. The same Yellow appears on the rubber outsole. Subsequently, fun 1990s graphics appear across the sole inserts. Additionally, each Nerf x Reebok Pump Omni Zone II “Light Jammer” comes with a free Nerfoop, a specially branded mini basketball hoop.
