Expected to drop in the next few weeks, here’s a look at the latest adidas D.O.N. Issue #2 “Day of the Dead” retailing for $110. Although many of the details around this upcoming DON Issue 2 remain unknown, official images show off the “Dia de los Muertos” themes utilized throughout the silhouette. Donovan Mitchell’s signature sneaker comes in an Off-White upper hitting from the mesh forefoot to the rigid heel cage. Accents come in the form of lush Forest Green, Neon Pink and Blue, and a brilliant Marigold Yellow. The Blue and Pink sugar skull on the toe box contrasts amazingly with the Marigold skull on the heel adorned with both a Black spider and its White web. Subsequently, skulls and Mexican florals decorate the Icy blue translucent rubber outsole. Even the sole inserts come with a grinning skull with dazed swirling eyes.
