Nike brings back a classic silhouette missing since 2016; the Air Griffey Max 1 releases soon in “Varsity Royal.” The upper gives off 90’s nostalgia, worthy of its original 1996 debut. Baseball legend Ken Griffey Jr.’s first signature sneaker comes comprised of Varsity Royal nubuck and White tumbled leather. Black accents the design in the forefoot Swoosh, nylon tongue, inner liner, and rubber outsole. Meanwhile, Volt pops in the vamp, and in the Nike Air branding fount on the tongue tab, insoles, and embroidered heels.
