Get a look at the upcoming Nike Dunk Low Retro “Samba” making a public release sometime Summer 2020 retailing for $100. The OG design from 2001 dubbed “Hyper Blue” only dropped in Japan. Now “Samba”, this time named for the vibrant Red accents will see a US release. It has been quite the year for Nike SB and the Nike Dunk brands. From the new Ben & Jerry’s Chunky Dunky, to the limited edition Strawberry Cough to the now cancelled 7-Eleven Sample, Dunks have clearly dominated 2020. Now, thanks to images from SolebyJC we can see that the Samba will retain the OG colorway. Underlays arrive in a deep Hyper Blue, highlighted on the satin-finished tongue and throat. These come wrapped in a Silver mudguard, eyestays, liner and heel. Vibrant Samba Red almost glows on the Nike quarter panel carbon fiber Swooshes and heel counter as well as the rubber outsole. Finally, White, featured on the Air midsole, toe box perforations and laces pulls the look together. While we don’t have a confirmed drop date, they would definitely look perfect for upcoming Independence Day celebrations. Stay tuned for an official release date and images for the Nike Dunk Low Retro “Samba.”
