However, the unique inversion of the right and left sneakers, respectively, comes up missing. Instead, both shoes opts for the look of the OG right foot with rich Wine Purple underlays and matte Black overlays. Likewise, Black covers the synthetic tongue, mesh liner, insoles, and rubber outsole.
Fragment Design’s signature lightning bolt logo featured in popping White on the lateral heels and a subtle Wine on the insoles. Overall. the updated appearance feels more simplistic but no less incredible. The choice to switch from Metallic Purple to Wine and making both sneakers the same design makes the sneakers seem more mature.
Just like how Fragment has matured and grown since 2010. Although the Air midsole remains White, this 2021 model features a long SKU code on the lateral edges above the midsole in fine, Black text. Could this potentially hint at an official release date? While laced up in Black, it’s unclear at the time of writing this article if a secondary Purple set will be included.
Currently, the release date is expected sometime this fall, though no official date is known just yet.
