First Look: South Park x adidas Campus 80s “Towelie”

South Park and adidas brand is here to remind you, “Don’t forget to bring a towel” with the upcoming Campus 80s “Towelie.” Your favorite stoned cloth makes an appearance as the base and inspiration for this latest Campus 80s upper. In the South Park Universe, the secret government genetically engineered towel gains super powers by smoking marijuana.

These Campus 80s features Chalk Purple terry cloth upper covering everything from the tongue to the heel. However, smooth leather appears on the Chalk Purple sockliner. Likewise for the Footwear White heel counter and quarter panel Three Stripes. More Footwear White coats the herringbone rubber outsole below. Going inside the tongue, we find a secret stash pocket hiding iconic lines of both pre and post high Towelie. This dual theme of both sides of the Purple towel continues with the UV-sensitive eyes that sit atop each tongue. What once was White and wide-open turns bloodshot and half-open reflecting his state of sobriety. Additionally, we have accompanying keychains of Towelie before and after smoking, perfectly completing the “dry-but-not-too-dry” design. Currently, the South Park x adidas Campus 80s “Towelie” is rumored to release just before or on April 20th 2021, affectionately referred to as 4/20. Would you be willing to cop a pair?
