Releasing this Spring at the retail price of $130, the Nike Air Tech Challenge 2 takes on its next iteration: Black Lava. This reimagined performance tennis sneaker was remade by designer Tinker Hatfield in 1989. The aptly named Air Tech Challenge II updates the 1990 upper in a stark Black synthetic leather and burning Hot Lava Orange highlights on the quarter panel Swoosh. Likewise, we see this vibrant Orange splattered across the the midfoot and heel base. The Tech Challenge 2 also comes with Silver accented vamp eyestays, ankle stabilizers, liner, Visible Air unit midsole and rubber outsole. Are Retros’ your thing? If so, will you be copping the Air Tech Challenge II this Spring?
