In celebration of its 50th Anniversary, adidas Original is releasing a studded Superstar in a Matte Metal colorway April 1st. Paying homage to the 1970 debut of adidas’ most iconic sneaker, this adidas Superstar trainer goes dark and edgy. Matte Black coats the smooth leather upper. Meanwhile, signature serrated Three Stripes come studded-out with matte metal rivets along the entire lateral side. White breaks up the matte on the shell-toe box and rubber cupsole. Also, the molded sockliner and textile liner come dressed in Black. That, alone with the lace closure system creates a true-to-fit form. Finally Gold Metallic comprises the Three Stripes adidas logo on the heel tab. Retailing for $100, will you be rocking the Matte Metal adidas Superstar on the first of the month?
