Edward Chen shows off his “Fearless” side with another Chinese inspired colorway.
New Asian infused design from Edison Chen’s CLOT and the Air Jordan 1 “Fearless Ones” collection coming December 7th. The Hong Kong street wear label gives us another beautifully embroidered sneaker.
Get into the look….
First and foremost, chrome-like Grey nylon upper glistens and gleans when contrasted with it’s solid Black accents. Tonal White intricately embroidered Chinese vector patterns and dragons cover the entire shoe. Deconstructed Black-threaded reverse Nike checks replace the trademark Swoosh panels on either side of the sneaker. The thread appears to unravel as it approaches the Black heel tab.
Likewise, Chen replaces the Air Jordan wings located on the medial collar with an all White-threaded version. Satin Black tongue supports the Black laces leading down to the Chinese coin ornament made to resemble aged copper.
Matching satin sockliner caresses the foot and ends in the Red insole with the Black “Fearless” logo atop Michael Jordan’s famous quote similarly featured on the Air Jordan collar tag.
Last but not least, we come down to the White midsole that sits on top of a full-body Red outsole. In hand and on foot, these kicks glow and enhance any look you may have planned for the Holiday festivities. Be sure to keep it locked here for the latest updates on these and all other sneaker news.
