Retail boutique Trophy Room celebrates the actual trophy room in Jordan’s Family home. Together, Marcus Jordans, Wilson Smith III, and TR created this limited edition sneaker. Metallic Gold for the scores of awards. Cool Grey for those days on the golf-course. Sleek Black to raise the elegance. Additionally, heavy focus rests on the opulence and wealth MJ’s success brought him while retired. Exclusively sold in Orlando Florida at TIER nightclub 8pm October 28, 2017, they were incredibly difficult to get a hold of.
Get into the look…
First and foremost, the eye is immediately brought the the Cool Grey suede overlays on the vamp, tongue collar, medial and lateral panels. Second, we come to the gaiter shroud sleeve with tonal Grey neoprene vertical stitching that mimics Corduroy ending in suede sides and Golden plastic clamps. Importantly, Jazz notes on the lateral side of the sleeve show how music was a major influence for the Jordan 17 design.
And, once the gaiter is removed we see Black mesh-knit tongue and neoprene tongue tab. Following, a blow molded lace lock and Black laces with Metallic Silver Jumpman aglets rest on top. Moreover, neoprene quarter panels represent Jordan’s time on the golf-course which helped supply materials for construction.
Subsequently, embossed 23 is found on the White toe box leading to the White/Black/Gold traction outsole. Black reinforced midsole wraps around to the heel and compliments the Black TPU heel stabilizer. Finally, silky Black neoprene sockliner with padded ankle support settles into Black insole with Golden Jumpman branding on the heel.
