An up close look at Mark Wahlberg’s latest Air Jordan collaboration, the Jordan 4 “Wahlburgers”
In November of this year, actor, model and businessman Mark Wahlberg was seen wearing the Air Jordan 4 Retro “Wahlbergers” as they coincided with Marky Mark’s new burger chain. In an effort to aid in fighting California wildfires, Wahlberg raffled off a pair to fans with an ultimate prize of a one on one video chat with the man, himself.
Get into the look…
Firstly, Apple Green covers the suede upper. Subsequently, stark Black and tonally pleasant Lime Green detailing pop atop the White midsole. Mark’s trademark White “W” representing his restaurant appears atop an Apple Green circle enclosed in a Lime Green ring. Of course this Black background tongue tab can be removed to reveal tonal Green lines along the tongue creating a perfect grid down to the vamp and stand out against translucent collar and throat eyelets.
Likewise, this grid is found on the side underlays. The Black mudguard, translucent eyelets and heel stabilizer are all decorated in Green paint splatter. Both sockliner and insole are completely Black. Blue tinted translucent outsole shows off an Apple Green signature. Lime Green Jumpman heel stabilizer, “Jumpman” tongue liner and Air Jordan hangtag complete the look.
Currently valued as high as $11,000, the Jordan 4 “Wahlberger” is one of this year’s most exclusive sneaker. As always, sneaker heads already know to keep it locked right here for more updates on these and the latest in sneaker news.
