The next adidas Yeezy 500 High dubbed “Tactile Orange” gets a confirmed release date of May 17th. Is the 500 High looking to be the next big Yeezy model?
Flying under the radar since its 2019 debut, weather due to the pandemic or Kanye’s political aspirations, little fanfare was given to this silhouette. Now, releasing in two colorways just days from now, it seems like that’s about to change.
Utilizing a mix of everything Yeezys are known for, this 500 High-profile upper features Brown earth tones, brilliant Orange, and shades of Blue.
Similar to its sister silhouette releasing the same day, Sumac Brown coats the neoprene mesh tongue, collar, and underlays. However, leather once covered in Crimson Red gets taken over by Navy Blue. This includes the laces and forefoot overlays that now match the wavy Navy suede.
Meanwhile, the eyestays and quarter panel overlays stand out in faded Blue suede. Chocolate Brown hits the suede toe box and matching heel counter above more Sumac on the mudguards.
Subsequently, the enlarged rubber outsole carries the titular Tactile Orange, which both complements the upper and stands out all on its own. With the adidas Yeezy 500 High “Tactile Orange” dropping the same day as the “Sumac”, which colorway do you plan to cop? Stay tuned to YankeeKicks for more updates on upcoming sneaker releases.
